collaborations

The lab signed an MoU with MachinesTalk, a major company on Internet-of-Things. The collaboration aims at jointly developing prototypes for the Internet-of-Things for possible commercialization in the Saudi Arabian market.

ELM

collaborations

The lab signed an MoU with Elm, a major company on Internet-of-Things. The collaboration aims at jointly developing prototypes for the Internet-of-Things for possible commercialization in the Saudi Arabian market.

DronzArabia

collaborations

The lab established active research collaboration with DronzArabia, a startup company in unmanned aerial systems in the Kingdom that is a division at Smart Datta Solutions in Hong Kong. DronzArabia UAV (DA UAV) builds high-performance drones for military, public safety, and commercial customers around the world.

STC Specialized

collaborations

The lab established a new R&D collaboration with STC Specialized, where the lab has provided consultation services and training to the engineers of STC Specialized in drones technologies, photogrammetry, 3D mapping, and surveying applications. This collaboration has resulted in a fund of SAR 43,000 from STC Specialized.

Gaitech Robotics

RIOTU Lab has a strong collaboration with Gaitech Robotics, a world-reputed robotic company located in China. A research collaboration agreement was signed and PSU received an external fund of USD 15,000 from Gaitech to support research and the development of the RIOTU Lab, in addition to robotics platforms.

CISTER

The lab maintains a research collaboration with CISTER research center, a top-ranked center in Portugal that specializes in real-time and embedded systems. Prof. Anis Koubaa participated in the supervision of PhD student Harrisson Kurunathan with Eduardo Tovar.

DatumCon

The RIOTU Lab has a collaboration with DatumCon company. The firm is based in Dubai and is a company in data science and artificial intelligence consulting cooperative, offering custom expert-level solutions for some of the most complex data problems.
