The Internet of Things (IoT) refers to a network of tiny devices linked to the Internet or other communication networks. IoT is gaining popularity since it opens new possibilities for developing many modern applications such as smart cities, smart agriculture, smart healthcare services, etc. The worldwide IoT market surpassed $100 billion in sales for the first time in 2017, and forecasts show that this number might reach $1.6 trillion by 2025. However, as IoT devices grow more widespread, threats, privacy, and security concerns are growing. The massive volume of data exchanged highlights significant challenges to preserving individual privacy and securing shared data. Therefore, securing the IoT environment becomes difficult for research and industry stakeholders. Dr. Wadii Boulila
received the B.Eng. degree (1st Class Honours with distinction) in computer science from the Aviation School of Borj El Amri, in 2005, the MSc. degree in computer science from the National School of Computer Science (ENSI), University of Manouba, Tunisia, in 2007, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science conjointly from the ENSI and Telecom-Bretagne, University of Rennes 1, France, in 2012. He is currently an associate professor of computer science and a senior researcher with Prince Sultan University, Saudi Arabia. He is also a senior researcher with the RIADI Laboratory, University of Manouba, and previously a Senior Research Fellow with the ITI Department, University of Rennes 1, France. Wadii received the award of the young researcher in computer science in Tunisia for the year 2021 from Beit El-Hikma. He participated in many research and industrial-funded projects. His primary research interests include big data analytics, deep learning, cybersecurity, data mining, artificial intelligence, uncertainty modeling, and remote sensing images. He has served as the Chair, a Reviewer, and a TPC member for many leading international conferences and journals. He is an IEEE Senior member and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), U.K.

Dr. Jawad Ahmad
is an experienced researcher with more than ten years of cutting-edge research and teaching experience in prestigious institutes, including Edinburgh Napier University, U.K.; Glasgow Caledonian University, U.K.; Hongik University, South Korea; and HITEC University Taxila, Pakistan. During his career, he taught various courses both at undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) levels. He has co-authored more than 100 research papers in international journals and peer-reviewed international conference proceedings. He regularly organizes timely special sessions and workshops for several flagship IEEE conferences. He is also an invited reviewer for numerous world-leading high-impact journals (having reviewed more than 100+ journal articles to date). His research interests include cybersecurity, multimedia encryption, machine learning, and the application of chaos theory in cybersecurity. He is a senior IEEE member.

Prof. Anis Koubaa
is a Professor in Computer Science, Aide to the Rector of Research Governance, and Leader of the Robotics and Internet of Things Research Lab, in Prince Sultan University. He is also R&D Consultant at Gaitech Robotics in China and a Senior Researcher at CISTER/INESC TEC and ISEP-IPP, Porto, Portugal. He has been the Chair of the ACM Chapter in Saudi Arabia since 2014. He is also a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) in the UK, and an ACM Distinguished Speaker. He received several distinctions and awards including the Rector Research Award in 2010 at Al-Imam Mohamed bin Saud University and the Rector Teaching Award in 2016 at Prince Sultan University. He is the Editor in Chief of the Robotics Software Engineering topic of the International Journal of Advanced Robotics Systems, and Associate Editor in the Cyber-Physical Journal (Taylor & Francis). He is also the author of six books with Springer on robots, sensor networks, and Robot Operating Systems (ROS). He has been also actively participating in program committees of several international conferences including, ACM/IEEE International Conference on Cyber-Physical Systems, International Conference on Robotic Computing, European Conference on Wireless Sensor Networks, IEEE International Conference on Autonomous Robot Systems and Competitions, IEEE International Workshop on Factory Communication Systems. He works on broad areas namely related to the Internet of Things, Unmanned Aerial Systems, Deep Learning, and Cyber-Physical Systems.

Dr. Maha Driss
received the Engineering degree ((highest 1st Class Honours with distinction) in computer science and the M.Sc. degree from the National School of Computer Science (ENSI), University of Manouba, Tunisia, in 2006 and 2007, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree conjointly from the University of Manouba, Tunisia, and University of Rennes 1, France, in 2011. From 2012 to 2015, she was an assistant professor in computer science at the National Higher Engineering School of Tunis, University of Tunis, Tunisia. She is currently an assistant professor of computer science and a senior researcher with Prince Sultan University, Saudi Arabia. She is also a senior researcher with the RIADI Laboratory, University of Manouba. She is an IEEE senior member. She served as a reviewer in several world-leading high-impact journals (e.g., IEEE Access Journal, Elsevier-Computer Networks Journal, Springer-Artificial Intelligence Review Journal, etc.) and she has chaired tracks and participated as a reviewer at a number of international conferences. Her primary research interests include software engineering, service computing, distributed systems, cybersecurity, IoT, IIoT, and artificial intelligence.

Prof. Imed Riadh Farah
received the Engineering degree from ENIG, Gabes, Tunisia, in 1991, the master’s degree from ISG, Tunis, Tunisia, in 1995, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from ENSI, Manouba, Tunisia, in 2003. He is currently a Full Professor at the University of Manouba, Manouba. His research interests include artificial intelligence, data mining, image processing, recognition, and interpretation, especially for remote sensing applications.
